What is Bluey's Happy Snaps?
Bluey and Bingo have found Dad's old camera, and their trip around Brisbane becomes a photo album you can help them fill. Gameloft describes a game about exploring places from the show, taking pictures of wildlife and decorating a scrapbook with stickers. There are toys to play with and familiar characters to meet along the way.
Developed by Gameloft Brisbane with Ludo Studio and BBC Studios, Bluey's Happy Snaps launched on October 15, 2026. It's available on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and Windows PC. This is a separate game from Bluey: The Videogame, which came out in 2023.
Can we play together?
Yes, according to the publisher's store description. One person can play alone, or two people can play together on the same system in Buddy mode. The main player handles the camera and leads the adventure. The second player joins in to explore, pose for photos and play with toys. That's useful to know if you're buying it for siblings who both want to be in charge of the camera.
Gameloft says there is no online play. The North American age rating is E for Everyone, but that doesn't tell us how much help a young child will need with the controls. I haven't played it yet, so I can't tell you how easy it is to pick up or how well the two-player setup works in practice.
A little play beyond the screen
Gameloft also describes activity ideas under the name Play for Real Life. These suggest ways to carry on playing with things around the house or outdoors, such as making cushion forts or watching birds.
English voices are available at launch. Gameloft says additional spoken languages will arrive in a free update, which needs an internet connection to download. If your family plays in another language, check the current language information before buying.

What I’d want to check
- How much help do younger children need with the camera, controls and instructions?
- How much can the second player do, and how easy is it to take turns leading?
- Can you stop and save easily when it's time to put the game down?
When might I review it?
MPC is a solo passion project, and many of the games I review come from my local library. Sometimes there’s a considerable wait for a copy, followed by time to play and write about it.
I don’t have a review date for this one yet. If I do review it, you’ll find the link right here.
